Saba Studios Connects with VAM X-Force

Vallourec’s VAM X-Force™ is the next generation of drilling connections. These connections were designed to drill in the most challenging environments by pushing the limits of existing technologies to reach deeper, more remote hydrocarbon reservoirs.

Vallourec approached Saba Studios with the challenge of producing a video that would tell the VAM X-Force story and promote their premiere connection. After meeting with the Vallourec team, it was clear that the story needed to be produced as a live action video. There was much ground to cover so we pulled the team together and got to work.

We decided to shoot organic interviews with Vallourec staff in effort to achieve a genuine tone. We then set out to gather as much b-roll as possible, shooting at their corporate headquarters, capturing footage of engineers and sales staff in action. We also visited Vallourec’s manufacturing warehouses and grabbed some incredible shots as we learned how the connections were made and tested. It was a very cool and educational journey for the team.

We jumped into the edit bay and started to whip up some some post production magic, slicing and dicing the the footage and setting it to an epic soundtrack. We were excited to watch it come together.

The end result was an entertaining, content-rich video that really captured the essence of Vallourec while promoting VAM X-Force like a boss. Upon its launch, the video received rave reviews from Vallourec and its prospects, proving to be a key marketing tool in the Vam X-Forece campaign.
