The Force is Strong with Saba Studios

This is a moment we all dreamed about. It’s the reason we, as artists, wanted to work in the field … so that we would one day work on Star Wars! Okay, so it wasn’t a movie installment, but hey, this was a great start!

The Health Museum of Houston commissioned Saba Studios to produce an interactive microsite to promote the exhibit Star Wars “Where Science Meets Imagination”! So we eagerly asked, “Do we get to work with Darth Vader? R2D2? Tie Fighters? X-wings? Can we blow something up???” Indeed we could and we did.

“We absolutely loved the challenge of producing a website that stayed true to Star War’s original vibe”, commented Michael Saba. “We wanted to carry over recognizable details from the franchise, such as the classic wipe transitions, genuine sound effects and overall feel. We had a blast doing just that and we even got to animate R2D2.”

The exhibit will have original movie props and interactive experiences you will not want to miss out on. The exhibit will open June 18th and will run through September 18th, so get your tickets soon!
